This Belgian Style Dubbel was inspired by the Trappist breweries of Belgium. Brewed with crystal malts and dark cassonade sugar this medium bodied ale has aromas of malt, toast and raisins. The flavour is all dark fruits and plums with hints of banana and chocolate.
Try this beer with Venison, duck, lamb or a nice juicy rib eye steak. Dubbel Irish also pairs really well with cheeses such as Cashel Blue, Stilton or Roquefort. Also goes really well with Dutch Sandwiches apparently.
